Almea is the fifth and final Gynoid that I built. Having bought various golden fabrics, parts, and threads each time I built one of the other Gynoids, I ended up discarding all of it since none of it matched their color schemes and designs. Now that I had so many leftover gold items, I decided to only build a final golden Gynoid if I either found a mannequin in the junk or at least one being sold very cheap. Having wanted to sculpt Lara Croft's face from the video game Tomb Raider Legend for quite some time, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to sculpt that as Almea's face, and coincidentally a really cheap mannequin that already looked like her was out for sale shortly after. After completing all the Gynoids and giving them unique fictional elemental powers in their artwork, I realized how much they paralleled another storyline I used to love as a child and decided to make my own story for the Gynoids in the same mystical and spiritual setting.
