Preparing the gloves
For the gloves of this costume, I bought a pair of black rubberized working gloves. These gloves are thin but strong, and they are also very comfortable as full rubber gloves will become very warm and sweaty after some while, but these are made out of breathing fabric and is only rubberized on the underside and on the fingers. They also have elastic wrists that makes them sit on very well.
This is what the gloves looked like after they were bought.

They cost about 9$ USD and were pretty good for that price.
The top of the fingers are mostly breathing fabric, along with the entire top of the glove.

The white lettering will be covered by the glove armor, so there is no need to remove the lettering as this might harm the fabric.
The underside of the gloves are mostly rubberized, except for the elastic wrists, but are not rubberized so much that they are smooth with rubber, but instead the rubber is so thin that tiny parts of the fabric sticks through it, making even the rubber parts breath.
The gloves are very good for holding blaster rifles with as the grip is so good that it feels as if the blaster rifle is glued to my hand.
Some gloves that are made of rubber or a rubber like material can have the glove armor mounted onto them by putting Velcro on top of the glove and underneath the glove armor, but as the top of my gloves are mainly fabric, the Velcro won't stick to it, so I chose to use the elastic straps that came with the armor kit that conveniently already had a piece of Velcro sewn on top of it.
To mount the glove armor onto the elastic strap, I used a piece of the industrial strength Velcro that can be seen in this photo.
After having cut a piece of the Velcro to the same size as the Velcro on the strap, I put them together and pealed off the paper from the white Velcro.
Now the glove armor has been attached to the Velcro, and sits on pretty good.
The same things were done to the other glove as well.
Now my Stormtrooper gloves are finished, and I am glad I found such nice gloves for a good price, also they look very good as Stormtrooper gloves and aren't hot at all to wear with the costume.
